COVID 19 PROTOCOLS & STUDIO RULES
For everyone’s safety and health please read the following new protocols and studio rules prior to arriving to Guttenberg Arts.
Masks are required when more than 1 person is working in the studio. Please note we will not provide face masks.
You must sign the Pledge of Personal Responsibility when entering the studio (they will be found at the entrance).
Hand sanitizer will be provided for everyone's use and can be found on both sides of each doorway.
All artists must clean/sanitize all surfaces that were used prior to leaving (alcohol is provided in the yellow fireproof cabinet).
Please only use the front door for entering Guttenberg Arts and the yard (rear) door for exiting when you are not alone in the studio
Gloves are optional but also no longer provided by the studio.
Bathroom fan/light should remain on when people are working in the studio to ensure the room is ventilated
3-6 people at a time including Staff (1 person at a time in the ceramic studio).
Absolutely no pop-ins, a minimum of 48 hr notice is required.
Ceramic Firings will include a 2 day in studio quarantine of the object, artists must schedule drop offs 48 hours in advance
Please keep windows open when possible.
Only 1 person in office at a time.
All office meetings held outside in the garden i.e. talking to residents/renters in the garden rather than the office
We have created a variety of signs in the studio to help promote caution while working.
The gallery will reopen by appointment only beginning July 1st. Please visit our exhibitions page to schedule a viewing.
Also beginning in July we will resume billing for anyone renting storage space in our studio. If you have any issues with this, please don't hesitate to contact us and we can work something out!
This workshop is designed for intermediate potters looking to push their skills by creating their largest cylinders yet.
