A personal ceramics workshop hosted at Guttenberg Arts. Learn to wheel throw basic ceramic forms. Decorating, glazing and firing techniques will be covered. Emphasis on developing a personal sense of form using sound fundamental skills. The class is conducted over the course of two consecutive weekends. Beginners are welcome, no prior ceramics experience necessary!

Phoebe Deutsch is a ceramic artist and fine art educator teaching throughout Northern New Jersey and the New York Tristate Area. She received her bachelors degree in Fine Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology, School for American Craft, specializing in ceramics. As ceramic studio director of Bulls Ferry Pottery Phoebe works directly with resident artists.
