Classes begin FEbruary 2nd and will Run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm

GüttenHigh extends free, semester-long art classes to 10 creatively oriented middle and high school students in Hudson County, NJ.

Courses in drawing, printmaking ceramics and sculpture are taught on a weekly basis by bilingual instructors sourced from the artist community of Guttenberg Arts. We host 2 sessions a week, separating the students into 2 groups of five for a safe and inspiring environment and provide a virtual option for the duration of the Covid-19 health crisis.

We hope that this program can make things easier for students, parents and teachers. We believe that empowering students to develop creative and critical thinking, social emotional competencies, and intellectual and expressive abilities will allow them to become active, contributing members of a global society.
