Art & Gardening Demos
take part in demonstrations of artistic techniques & sustainable living practices
Transplanting Demo - Learn about Transplanting, the process of moving a fully germinated seedling (or mature plant) and replanting it in a permanent location for the growing season.
Monoprint Demo - Monotype Printing is an incredibly immediate, playful, and multi-faceted type of printmaking, which could be described as a printed painting. Paint on small plexi glass sheets and print on paper using a printing press.
Wheel of Eco-Education - Win prizes as you learn about Environmental causes in Hudson County through a fun wheel game!
Upcycle Coalition - Kids and adults alike are welcome to create anything they want by reusing materials that are often time thrown out or recycled.
Silkscreen Demo - Print 1 out of 4 designs onto a range of colorful tee shirts or paper.
Clay Table - Pick up a piece of clay and create something unique. Contributors are asked to sign the bottoms of their work and leave their contact info. GA Staff will fire the work the following week and reach out with pick up information.
Community Chalk Mural - Anyone interested in picking up a piece of chalk can draw on a section of the street. L et’s see what comes together!
Zine Making- Join us at our zine-making demo table where we will learn how to create mini-booklets centered on the themes of community care, honoring nature and protecting the land we call home. This workshop is for youth and folks of ALL AGES! Facilitated by @brujitawarrior

GüttenGreen Fest takes place on Saturday, June 22nd from 11am to 4pm on Jackson Street between 68th and 70th streets in Guttenberg NJ.
